Psychosophy is both an emerging discipline for Self-Development and a Social Art for cultivating health in all spheres of life.
Psychosophy literally means Soul Wisdom. It is the term Rudolf Steiner (1861 – 1925), the founder of Anthroposophy (also referred to as Spiritual Science) used in 1910 to describe a view of the dynamic dimensions of soul life. The series of lectures given in Berlin, Germany in 1910 can be found in the second series of lectures inA Psychology of Body, Soul, & Spirit (1999).

We live in a time where the question of psychological wellbeing has never been greater. For decades individuals, discontent with the prevailing one-sided Western worldview of the soul, have sought for answers to their riddles by embracing Eastern worldviews of spirituality. Yet, for over a century there has been a spiritual scientific framework for understanding the wisdom of the soul. The fact that it has remained largely unknown and little developed is one of the great oversights in the field of psychology. Rudolf Steiner’s penetrating perspectives given in a lecture cycle in 1910 entitled: The Wisdom of the Soul – Psychosophy remains as pertinent today as it was then.
Come and join the Psychosophy Circle in its continual endeavor to share the inherent value an Anthroposophical Extended Psychology has to offer the seeker of soulful and spiritually enlivening inner development practices. Through leading thoughts, artistic immersion, and social activities participants will explore and experience Psychosophy.
Update Psychosophy Conferences
The intention to inaugurate a series of Psychosophy Seminars has been changed to a series of Conferences introducing the nature and orientation of Psychosophy as addressed by Rudolf Steiner in 1910.
The conferences will provide an opportunity for many like-minded individuals to explore Anthroposophic concepts relevant to the themes of soul life. Whether participants are seeking to enhance their inner development work, augment their professional counseling, deepen their pastoral care work, or improve their skills for working with groups and organizations, there will be experiential processes that will highlight the key aspects of an Anthroposophic Psychology from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Content will be brought into artistic experiences, and group processes will be supported throughout the conference.
It is hoped that this conferences will help identify the needs of participants for a future ongoing series of seminars, as well as introduce the significant elements of a much-needed renewal for the field of psychology.
